If you have a FishingMU account and would like to delete it, you can request account deletion from FishingMU.
How to request deletion
Please contact FishingMU and request that your account be deleted.
Your request should include:
Subject: FishingMU Account Deletion Request
Please provide:
- Your FishingMU username
- The email address associated with your account
- Any additional information necessary for us to identify your account
For security purposes, we may need to verify that the request was made by the account holder.
What happens after you request deletion?
After receiving and verifying your request, FishingMU will process the account deletion request.
Account information that may be deleted can include:
- Your FishingMU profile
- Username
- Profile information
- Social-login connection
- User-generated profile information
- Other personal information associated with your account, where applicable
Some information may need to be retained where required by law, necessary for legitimate legal or security purposes, or required to maintain records of transactions.
Public content that you have previously posted may also be removed where appropriate. In some circumstances, certain content may be retained in an anonymized or otherwise non-personally-identifiable form.
Google and Facebook Login
If you created or accessed your FishingMU account using Google or Facebook, deleting your FishingMU account will remove the FishingMU account and its connection to the relevant social-login service.
Deleting your FishingMU account does not delete your Google or Facebook account.
To delete information held directly by Google or Meta/Facebook, you must also use the account-management and privacy controls provided by those services.
